My Speech - Bullying

My Reflection
We have been learning to write an effective speech. I found this tricky because you had to write a lot of words and I had no ideas.  I used some websites to help me get ideas.  My next step is to maybe have a little more enthusiasm in my speech.

Fractions

I was learning to understand the parts of a fraction.  It was frustrating because I got mixed up because I had to say quarters thirds and halves.  I like what mrs p taught us what fractions are and what a fraction is a part of.  Next time I could actually learn more about what a fraction can be.

My popplet reflection

I have been learning to summarise and record my research in my own words.I found summarising the information in our own word was hard because something I learnt was tsunamis are big and can kill people.My next step is to concentrate and do more and make sure its finished.

Pepeha art

 This is my pepeha art that i made.It is the maori tradition.

It was excellent because we had to die our work

and paint but first we had to draw first and then

do it over vivid and the pick our color.

Understanding a Character's Impact

I was learning to understand the impact of characters in a story.  One thing that worked for me was that I didn't make any mistakes in my work.  Next time I could actually ask for help if I get stuck.

Show Don't Tell

I was learning was learning how to use the Show Don't Tell strategy.  I found this a little bit hard.  The hard part was when I kept making a lot of mistakes because I found it hard to concentrate.  Overall I think the writing was interesting and fun.

                                        I am learning to write about what our special place is.My special place                                         is the pool because I think the pool is a comfortable place to swim and                                          have fun with your friends when you are board.
